Kastania Organics Wild Mountain Honey

Our pure all natural wild mountain honey is harvested from wild honey bees at altitudes above 750 meters. They graze on a variety of wild flowers native to the southern slopes of Taygeto's range. The predominant bloom here in the spring is thyme, which gives our honey it's heavenly and unique taste. Later in the season the bees graze on orange blossoms as well as briar flowers. All of these blossoms give our honey a distinct taste depending on which is predominant at the time of harvest.
